help please!

You guys!  I need help coming up with ideas for Berlyn's second birthday party!  I could pretend I'm one of those mommies on the internet who has everything together and knows EXACTLY what she wants to do for her daughter's birthday (which is a little over a month away), but I completely DON'T.

Part of me wants to just take her to Disneyland.  Watch her take everything in, and focus completely on her and her happiness.  Another part of me wants to go crazy like I did for her first birthday, and "Pinterest" everything for decorations, food, gifts, etc.  What have you girls done for your little ones' second birthdays?

I know that she won't remember this birthday party, just like her first birthday, but I still want to take into consideration the things that she is interested in... you know, Raya (Cinderella), Belle, Aurora, Go Wipes (Snow White), and A-ee-ole (Ariel).  Is it worth it to spend the money and time on the second birthday party?  Should I just keep it small and intimate?  This mama needs HELP!

Xoxo!

  1. I'm going party again. My partner thinks I'm nuts, I just told him to suck it up. Why don't you combine the 2? I'm im Australia so have no idea what Disneyland is like. Is it expensive to have maybe a small family party there? Matilda's birthday is 3 months today and I'm in party planning mode. And even better, it's Easter the weekend before her birthday.

    1. I would love to combine the two, but Disneyland is very pricey! I think we will end up just doing a small family get together!

  3. I am having the same thoughts! (Even though I have awhile to think lol.) But I really think I just want to have a really fun day spending money on doing things H wants to do instead of spending money on party stuff that's pretty much for me and the internet lol!! If you do a party, you should defiantly do a Cinderella theme!! Love you and B!!

  6. You could just do a BIG party every other year. We do that with my girl who is now 5 and it's great! First year, did just family, second year, big party, third a few friends and fam etc.
